who am i?
Christina Dobre is a NY-based Director of Photography who strives to create stories with emotionally driven imagery that helps us to feel, to connect, and to heal. She is drawn to narratives involving generational trauma, human existence, and the female experience.
Christina is an ASC Vision Mentee for the class of 2024 - 2025. Her most notable recent narrative project, AT NIGHT, premiered in NYC at the Academy Award-qualifying film festival, Urbanworld. She has collaborated with major clients like Comedy Central, Estee Lauder, ADOBE, Aputure, Taco Bell, and Verizon. In her personal time, Christina shares her experiences as a female DOP with her filmmaking community of over 100K on social media and hopes to inspire younger generations of women to tell their stories.
